Obama is an American. His parents divorced when he was 2 years old and his father, a Harvard trained economist, went back to Kenya. He died in a car accident many years ago, and Obama has been to Africa one time in his life. If Obama won the election, he would set about balancing the budget because he believes in fiscal responsibility. According to his recent votes he would regulate financial instruments to protect home mortgages, return to paygo so that all new programs would be funded by current revenues and not by more borrowing, and he would supports federal programs to protect rural economy.
