Lonro Hotels Newsletter
Thursday, January 29, 2009 2:30Our new Visitor’s Information Centre at Sweetwaters Game Reserve is a
must to visit, when staying at Sweetwaters Tented Camp or Ol Pejeta
Ranch House: it has a “please touch” policy instead of a “don’t touch”!
The Norfolk Hotel has been renovated, and all the work completed now, so
we have 167 rooms and suites on offer instead of 124, and the public
areas and restaurants now look fantastic and lend a new splendour to the
hotel. We also have a new car park directly opposite the hotel, for
convenience of dining and residing guests of the hotel.
Mount Kenya Safari Club offers you luxury and relaxation in the
delightful mountain air of Nanyuki, and the activities available remain
the best in the area… we have had quite a number of weddings through
1999, making Mount Kenya Safari Club a very popular spot in the
“romantic hotels” category.
Mara Safari Club’s Premium Tents are very popular and very much in
demand, due to their high level of luxury and the private game-viewing
platform which divides these and the standard tents. It is definitely a
treat to have your meals quietly on the platform, away from the
mainstream guests of the Camp!
Aberdare Country Club and The Ark have seen a new injection of energy,
with the new General Manager Damian Davies taking over. As Damian has a
young family, children’s activities have been elaborated, and the Club
seems to have taken on an underlying feeling of jovial excitement…
This is still the best place to relax, golf, swim, take game walks, view
a multitude of game which visits the waterhole at The Ark, and generally
get back to nature.
We look forward to your staying at our properties.
