@luci66 when you go to a different city even in your own country, do you not keep your wits about you? It’s the same in Kenya. It would be better to arrange a tour, or connect with a native Kenyan to take you around. Once you develop a connection, you will never want to leave, I promise. Just bring all you need and your family coz you may not want to return to your country once you get here.

@rob – why compare Kenya to worst gun crime place in the World? Try comparing Kenya to the UK.

just on apositive note…there are 2 britons who died in kenya , and in USA atleast 10 people die DAILY under the mercies of gunmen?WHICH COUNTRY IS SAFE???we all live by mercies of God. Kenya is an awesome Tourist destination and has alot to offer the world,.it has unique geographic scenes and great worldlife. its also a great farming country and supplies the world with alot.
my big issue is kenyan leadership. very corrupt leaders who just enrich themselves and waste the ground level workers.

Two Britons were killed while vacationing in the Kenyan coastal city of Mombasa.

Norman Joel and an unidentified person were reported killed on October 15 2009

    An investigation is under way.

Th UK Foreign Office warns citizens about incidents such as robberies and muggings targeting foreigners in the country, especially in Mombasa and the capital, Nairobi.

Nairobi is a great a fun place to try out new things. Its gone through tremendous change in the last few yrs, traffic systems hv bn improved. Don’t go to nairobi if u want an Newyork-like-feel, Go to Nairobi if ur looking 4 a City-in-the-Sun kinda feel..
