NAIROBI, Feb 26 (Reuters) – Kenya Power & Lighting said on Friday its pretax profit rose 31 percent to 2.86 billion shillings ($37 million) in the six months to end-December. “The company recorded a pretax profit of 2,863 million shillings during the period under review … an increase of 31 percent,” KPLC said in a statement published in a newspaper.
