May 20 (Bloomberg) — Economic growth in Kenya , the world’s biggest producer of black tea, may accelerate to as much as 5 percent this year as improved weather boosts agricultural output, Planning Minister Wycliffe Oparanya said.

IMF Expects Kenya’s Economy to Grow by 4.5% in 2010-11
Jan. 28 (Bloomberg) — Kenya’s economy is expected to grow by about 4.5 percent in 2010-11 and remain below its potential of 6 percent until at least 2012-13, the Washington-based International Monetary Fund said in a statement on its Web site.
