The Ark

LEOPARD KILL at the Ark! On 11th June a young bush buck came to join some elephants and rhino by the waterhole. At 3.00a.m, almost as if we had called him, a leopard came to the waterhole and stalked the bush buck, getting him in front of all the guests! The next morning, going back to Aberdare Country Club, our guests saw another leopard, and a lovely well-fed lioness lying in the sun by the side of the road. Just a few more reasons to visit the Ark!
Children’s nights at the Ark – the next one is Friday 14th February: Where possible please do not book “children’s night” dates for clients without children as the excitement of children tends to increase noise levels in the Ark.
For entry to the Ark, please do not forget the resident’s smart card requirements to get into the Aberdare National Park. KWS is very strict about not letting non-card-holders into the Park!
